Patricia Durocher – CEO & Founder Pat directs the strategic development, global collaboration and overall operations for the company, a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBENC). With over 25 years experience working with international markets, Pat founded the company based upon industry feedback and the need to provide hotel and venue selection services on a global basis. Pat’s vision is to lead the company employing honesty, integrity, respect and trust in all business practices.
Durocher has in-depth experience in developing and managing global sales networks for the travel industry and has been in the MICE industry since 2000. She serves on several international industry boards and is a frequent speaker at industry trade shows. As previous President of a leading global representation company in the hospitality industry, she helped the company to expand into new international markets, diversify its client base and increase revenues.
Durocher, who earned an MBA in International Business and is also a CPA, founded and managed a successful certified public accounting firm which, for 9 years, specialized in business consulting in a variety of industries. Pat resides in Scottsdale, AZ.
Roger Stauffer – Director, Sales Support & Procurement In addition to providing sales training and support to Global Cynergies’ Account Executives located throughout the world, Roger manages the Procurement Department where he is responsible for overseeing the overall procurement process.
Roger has 25 years of experience in working with international markets. He has worked in the meetings industry since 2003 in business development and supporting a global team. Prior to this, Roger spent 18 years in Revenue Management in the airline industry where he worked for three airlines in both domestic and international markets, seven of those years as Director of Pricing and Revenue Management. This experience has helped him immensely in his work with hotels and clients as Revenue Management has become a critical topic in the meetings industry.
Roger did his undergraduate work at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received a Masters Degree from The School of International Service at The American University.
Judy Henrich – Director, Recruitment & Industry Relations Judy is Director of Recruitment and Industry Relations for Global Cynergies. In addition to recruiting and training new Account Executives, Judy works with industry suppliers around the globe to develop programs that increase awareness, new business and market opportunities.
Judy has worked in the meetings industry since 2000. During that time, she assisted with the development of the international network for a branch of a leading U.S. site selection company by recruiting, training and supporting international associates in 35 countries with their business development. In addition, she was responsible for organizing the company’s meetings and was instrumental in planning and managing the company’s first Global Forum in Paris with nearly 200 attendees.
Prior to this Judy worked with the largest global representation company in the world in a number of capacities over a 14 year period, including living and working in Frankfurt, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; and London, England. Judy also assisted the President of the company to establish regional centers in London and Miami and held account management responsibilities for a number of hotel and cruise clients.
Sandy DiMinno – Sr. Director Business Development In addition to working with her own portfolio of clients, Sandy brings a wealth of experience to the team and assists with business development, talent acquisition, training/coaching, and mentoring.
Amy Durocher – Director, Global Accounts Amy specializes in assisting clients with worldwide venue selection; securing the best hotel or venue at the best price. Amy is responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of global clients from corporate, association, education and non-profit sectors and is a top producer in the company.
Responsibilities include lead prospecting, client development, account management, RFP creation, venue research and sourcing, proposal development and concession and contract negotiation. In addition to these tasks, Amy is a member of Global Cynergies’ Advisory Board and works on special projects related to sales training and development for the company.
Amy has worked in the MICE industry since 2003 and has a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Arizona.
Monika Tonk – Global Hotel & Venue Consultant In addition to managing her own local clientele, Monika is responsible for training Global Cynergies’ team members located in EMEA in utilizing GC’s platform for electronic distribution of request for proposals (RFP) to suppliers. Moreover, she heads up the Procurement Services Program in Europe whereby she consults with team members on procurement needs for clients and may assist with the preparation of comparative reports, cost analysis and other services ensuring that GC’s best practices are maintained worldwide.
Prior to joining Global Cynergies, Monika worked in the hospitality industry since 1997, first for major international hotel chains such as Marriott and Four Seasons, then as a global venue finder for a variety of clients
