I just got back from a 2 week trip to Europe which included numerous hotel site inspections, presentations on how to work with the intermediary channel, participation in the MPI Belgium Healthcare Forum (see Global Cynergies Exchange Group on LinkedIn),
It’s amazing how busy the markets are and how quickly the hotels change by adding new product/concepts, to new openings, to new brandings, to new refurbishments. Each market is different, yet the same in many ways in terms of brand expansion, business development and the need to develop new distribution channels. I experienced a wide variety of product each with its own unique characteristics and appeal to specific segments of business – from “out of the box” creative meeting concepts, to conference airport properties.
